Our client, Beaver Dam, facilitated an exciting licensing collaboration with Anheuser Busch, blending the iconic brands for a unique ice fishing-themed promotion.

Key Deliverables

Artwork Development: We crafted AB’s themed artwork for Beaver Dam’s legendary tip-ups and rod combos featuring a captivating ice fishing scene with a snowy frozen lake, woods, ice shanty, and anglers at the ice.

Themed Promotions by Anheuser Busch: Leveraging the ice fishing theme, Busch Light extended their promotion across various promotional channels. This included:

Ice Shanty Rental Campaign: Engaging customers with themed ice shanty rentals.

Product Packaging: Custom beer packaging and coolers featuring the ice fishing scene.

Ice Shanty Décor: Both the exterior and interior of the ice shanty were decorated with matching signage, pillows, curtains, a lighted beer sign, and other themed interior items.

The collaboration with Beaver Dam’s iconic product selections further provided a cohesive and immersive ice fishing experience, enhancing brand visibility and engagement for both Beaver Dam and Anheuser Busch.

Beaver Dam^® Busch Light^® Original Ice Fishing Tip-up

The original Beaver Dam tip-up started it all more than 50 years ago. Beaver Dam Tip-ups have been designed, tested and proven to meet the demands of ice fishermen all over the world.

The Busch Light ice shanty located on Mille Lacs Lake, Minnesota, is wrapped in Busch beer branding outside and inside features two twin beds, dual refrigerators to keep bait separate, heating, and indoor fishing holes.

Managed by The Red Door Resort, the ice shanty is available for rental, and Busch gave one lucky winner (and a plus one) a free fishing trip featuring the ice shanty and plenty of Busch beer via social media.
